i know none of you probably understand this. but there is a section in the mazda computers where i submit claims for Pdi's i have been looking for the rx8 to be listed. well i just checked and it is now listed and mine is in there. that is a great sign. <P> side note unfortunately i can not check other peoples only peolpe that bought the car here as it is password protected by each dealer.

yes. i have been watching for the last 2 weeks waiting for the rx8 to be listed. and today after lunch it was listed, before lunch it was not.

So you usually see the vehicles added in that database relatively close to actual delivery?

yes. it kind of tells me that it has left the port, because i have seen them listed then arrive shorty there after. but i can not confirm that it has left port though because the vin still says at port. i am hoping to see it soon though, if it gets here before 5:00pm pst i can get it tonight if it gets here later they will not do anything here withit until monday, and sinvce i am off monday and have some plumbers coming over to work on our house sometime between 10:00am and 3:00pm i probably will not be able to pick it up until tuesday, so hopefully it will get here before 5:00. (about 2 hours left)

Excellent! Any minutes now. . . If it arrive, I don't mind going down the the dealer and finish up the paperwork over the weekend then drop by on Monday Just to pickup. That's what I did when I first bought my car, got all the paper work done over the weekend and pickup the car monday and drive straight to work. What's a treat for skipping work! :D

ifubar...has the actual status of your car changed from 30 now that it's actually on its way from port to dealer??

no it is still 30.t wont change until the car has been at the dealer for 24-48 hours. by then it wil be sold anyway:D
