I know everyone wants to know the status on their cars. Unfortunately, the warranty screens have not caught up with the Inventory Reports. All the Vin's I have checked are still showing at the Ports. The only way to find out if your car has been released is to contact your dealer and have him or her check the status on that report. Dealers cannot access another dealers Inventory Report. I wish I could be of more help. If you can't get any info out of your dealer, the reports should be caught up by Monday and then I'll be able to run your Vin and get an accurate idea of its status. I don't suppose you have any way to confirm whether all ports are releasing cars, or if some are and some aren't (and if so which are in which category)?

I would imagine all the Regions are releasing cars. I know the West and Gulf are but don't know for sure on the others.

My dealer noticed some cars had been shipped to other dealers in the area (using some computer at the dealership), even as far away as Savannah, GA, and we're in Atlanta. She was a little ticked that their biggest compeditor is receiving 2 RX-8s before them (and so am I) :eek:

Well I can confirm that, at least at the present time, there are NO 8's at Fairway in Savannah. I just got back from scoping the joint out. I drove all around that place and no sightings just yet. I don't doubt that two have been released to Fairway though.

Do you know which ports in the west? Washington and L.A. are two different ports, is it possible that one has started releasing and the other hasn't?

FUBAR, do you know anything about cars coming to your store (since that's L.A. if I remember correctly)?
