Alright, my phone bill is normally $28 CDN, last months was over $100 because my new gf lives outside local service range. So, what do you suggest to cut down on this bill, I have never really had to make long distance calls to often.

Cell phone. I pay $60.00 for 1800 minutes nationwide (US).

Digital Phone through your cable service (if they offer it) - $39.99 per month, unlimited long distance, all the bells and whistles.

Have her move in with you.

oh she does call me, at least half the time.

The digital service is a good idea, I think my cable company has that, i'll have to look into it.

This skype thing is interesting too, has anyone used it?

One of my co-workers uses Skype on a daily basis to talk with his girlfriend in Taiwan. He swears by it. They also have webcams so they can see each other while they're talking.
