What are the odds, I keep hoping to hear something after some early week excitement.

Actually, that top response should be "less than 25%". It's looking like next week (he says optimistically).

Seems that the majority is erring on the side of pessimism.

The car isn't gonna be here this week. I told everybody I know and their mother that I would have the car this week. So now I get asked about the car about every 5 minutes. When I tell them it's not here yet, I get "You should have bought xxxx car and you wouldn't be having this problem". I'm about to stangle the next person that ask's me about the car.

There is probably already somebody somewhere in the U.S. that has their car....they're just not on the forum.

A tiny Mazda dealership with about 10 cars (that's 10 total cars....not 8's) on their lot in the middle of BFE with some 80 year old farmer that pre-ordered has gotten the 1 RX-8 that they will sell this year. He's driving around on some country road....chewing tobacco....spitting out the window and letting it run down the side of the door....listening to a Patsy Cline CD.....and here we are, the hardcore enthusiasts still waiting impatiently.

I voted 50%. Its like tossing a freaken coin at this point. The only problem is my coin has tails on both sides

I couldn't care less. I have waited ten years for a new car, and waiting a few more weeks isn't going to bug me a bit.

So in the spirit of congeniality, I hope that you all get your cars before mine :) . I know that you guys have REALLY waited. Me it's only been a bit over a month. You guys just hang on. It'll get here!!!

I generally consider myself an optimist, but I saw no 0% but voted for 25% since it was the lowest number available.

But... I'll continue to look for a truck today (none as of 8:02AM EDST at my dealer near DC)

Let's change the poll to 0-25, 26-50, etc. Side bar: I think the poll thingy is mondo cool.

There's a difference between pessimistic and realistic. I just don't see it happening realistically until next week.
