savage123 07-07-2003, 08:54 AM just canceled my order on the rx8 and pick up the z just could not wait any longer , and i am so glad i did!what power right out of the gate. my dealer told me the end of may for the 8 haha! as far as power and looks what a car that 350z is!i bought chrome silver track model $1000 under sticker! any comments
RobDickinson 07-07-2003, 09:04 AM Ya, enjoy the car. Bye!
Hercules 07-07-2003, 09:05 AM Yea, the RX-8 is out a week so your impatience is just borderline trolling or obscenely immature.
I dunno... I could have waited a week more. Z is a nice car though, but I like the G35C more.
savage123 07-07-2003, 09:10 AM as far as speed i hope i run into a rx8 at a light haha

Stoplight racing is something you won't find most of the people on this board doing in their cars.
If you wanted to stoplight race with the little kiddies, you definately got the right car. Kudos to you.
javahut 07-07-2003, 09:14 AM 350Z is a nice car. I just couldn't live with the plainess of the interior, though. Also, I couldn't live with not having a rotary engine under the hood!;) :D
RXhusker 07-07-2003, 09:20 AM I am sure that the first thing someone is going to do after buying a new sports car is go on the internet and try to sell their pre-order gift from another vehicle (see savage123's other posts) and then start a "Look What I Got" thread. Sounds like a real exciting car.
For those of us waiting to get our RX's this week -- I think we will have more on our minds than trolling to other boards -- I guess that's why all the press reviews say the RX is much more fun to drive then the Z. :D
Maximus 07-07-2003, 09:21 AM personally I couldn't spend more than a minute in 350Z interior let alone next 3 to 4 years approx. G35 was better compared to the Z but a far cry from being fantastic.
Hercules 07-07-2003, 09:23 AM If you read his post though... he's much more concerned about the straight line speed whereas most buyers of the RX-8 are not.
He got the right car, and I'm glad I won't see him tooling around in an RX-8 revving the engine like an idiot at every passer-by he sees.
The Z will be the car for the teeny boppers and their parent's money, and hopefully the RX-8 will be the car of mature drivers who like to enjoy themselves.
savage123 07-07-2003, 09:25 AM oh ya i forgot the 8 is a family car slow and a four seater

That and the exterior styling, IMO needs some work. I like the front head-on and front 1/2 profile, but the whole back 1/2 needs some work... What's with the tapering roofline? Is it a hatch or a coupe? Why is it so big if it's only a 2 seater? And the rear of that car looks like it was stuck (and stretched) by a plunger during it's inception. $44K Cdn for a base, 3200lbs chassis with a V6? LOL, no thanks sucker!

Please refrain from replying to this thread, let it just die off.
Thanks.
RXhusker 07-07-2003, 09:36 AM The really funny thing is -- we are all humoring this troll by continuing the banter -- he is sitting at his computer with a smile on his face reading our stupid quips back and forth -- I guess his car doesn't put a smile on his face so he has to come here and try to have a little fun. When my 8 come this week my smile will last for a very long time and I certainly won't be sitting on the Z forum trying to get my jollies making references to their cars.
savage123 07-07-2003, 09:36 AM sorry partner paid only 33,000 , so i think u need to do your homework and learn about pricing, what did u pay for ur 8 over sticker , he must had seen u comiming if u think the z is 44,000 wake up
Hercules 07-07-2003, 09:38 AM Actually savage, my guess is that you don't have the car at all, either the Z or the RX-8.
I think you're here to start trouble and so far it's started a bit... thus I'll say again...
DON'T REPLY TO THIS THREAD.
Thanks.
savage123 07-07-2003, 09:41 AM don't be such a cry baby, ur four seater is comming , so u can put the baby seat in the back boowhoo
blizz81 07-07-2003, 09:42 AM If you read his post though... he's much more concerned about the straight line speed whereas most buyers of the RX-8 are not.
I think he's concerned on being trollish and getting a rise out of people, over the internet, no less.
Enjoy the Z, that is...if you really got one. It's a tad chubby and not as athletic as the 8, and pretty ugly inside and out imo. Good low-end but all that torquey goodness can wear on drivetrain components, especially if you're rough on it. Good luck w/nissan service, heh...
hehe, there were about 8 responses that showed after I submitted mine. Sorry for responding :)
Hercules 07-07-2003, 09:42 AM Please let this thread DIE.

btw...if u look where FritzMan is from, u will see that it's Ottawa CANADA
Conversion = 1 USD equals 1.5 Canadian....
Thus $30K USD ~ $45K Canadian
