How many SRT-4 drivers does it take to change a light bulb?
Two -- one to change it, and one to apply the NOS stickers.

+1 to brag about how fast it is.

There was an SRT-4 driver stuck in the snow. He got a bag of sand out of the trunk and started throwing it under the back wheels.

Another driver came along and said, "Why are you putting sand under the back wheels?"

The SRT-4 driver said, "Well, they're the ones that aren't turning."

I was driving around today and some tool in a plain old Neon was messing with me - he kept doing flybys while driving on the lane line to try and get my attention (he didn't need to, it sounded like his car was going to blow up - he had my attention). Finally he got a bit ahead of me and put his window down so he could shoot "the look" at me and I just about lost it laughing. He had no less than about 10 gauges mounted ALL OVER his dashboard and pillar, including the ever-important alarm clock sized tachometer (mounted sideways for racing) and pillar pod with one random empty slot. I think he saw me laughing my ass off because just after that, he moved over to the far right lane and turned off.

Speaking of SRT's, i saw a mom with her 2 kids at the grocery store yesterday. She had actually set her groceries ON the spoiler, and proceeded to drive off. That gargantuan spoiler isnt fooling anyone, she thought it was the trunk!

It looks to be about the best turbo ever made, so it must be. :p

They will only change light bulbs in straight hallways. if they find themselves in a hallway with turns it takes them forever.

I'm sure if all the car had to do was make it down a 1/4 mile and blow up, there are lots of cars that can do that just as well as a SRT-4

Q: What do you get when you cross a Neon with a turbocharged, 2,429 cc 2.4 liters in-line 4 front engine?

A: Still just a Neon.

I predict a 30+ paged response on SRT-4 forums about how many RX-8 drivers it takes to make some torque :)

Enough bashing-can't we just all get along?

We all know that they have 2x the displacement that we do.

We all know that the 13B has the displacement of a 4 cyl Geo Metro.

We all know that you can't compare a normally aspirated engine with a boosted one.

We all know that with the proper gearing, anything could be faster in the 1/4 mile then an SRT.

We all know that most SRT drivers are not as mature or educated as we are, and that they have not grown out of the testosterone induced need to be faster then the car in the other lane.

What we know is that they are driving a car with 10 year old technology.

What we know is that if an SRT was on the line side-by-side with our nose, and the Christmas Tree turned green, is that if we sneezed, the mucus in our nose would be faster off the line then the SRT(Doc can back this up as to how fast the air, etc, expelled from the nose during a sneeze is.) This means that our noses run faster than an SRT!!!

What THEY don't know is..........much of anything!!!!

Found this on another board--Classic!

Confessions of a Neon owner...

I drive a Dodge Chrysler Plymouth Neon. I love my Dodge Chrysler Plymouth Neon. The Neon was designed to be a cheap-ass car that doesn't suck, and I think it fits that role to a tee. It's not a blazingly fast car and it's not an especially hot-lookin' car, but it handles great on turns, comfortably seats four real-sized people, and has enough oomph to make it up hills with no great duress. It's a classical medium-quality low-price vehicle.

My question: why on earth do they make turbocharging add-ons for a Neon? 'Cuz they do. Sure, it'll run you about $3,000, but you can get one. You can get a nitrous kit for one, too— you know, in case you need even more kick peeling away from a stoplight. 'Cuz ya just know taking a low-end vehicle and buying modifications for it is far simpler and easier than, say, using that cash and buying a slightly-used Miata, or something along those lines. That's just common sense.

Actually, I'm presuming that these add-ons are meant for "hard-core" Neon enthusiasts, who perform drag races with their Neons in officially sanctioned competitions. Which makes perfect sense, except for one tiny detail: YOU'RE RACING NEONS. Neons. Not Dodge Vipers, but Plymouth Neons. You could be at the dance competing for hot chicks; instead you're at a D&D tournament, competing for what few females may end up there. Even if you're the absolute champion stud of Neon driving, I'm sure all the other car folk quietly snicker at you behind your back, knowing that their "real" racecars could easily kick your commuter car's ass six ways from Sunday. Unreal.

sorry about this one guys.....

How many RX8 drivers does it take to screw in a light bulb?......

Quite a few to generate enough torque to turn the bulb and quite a few more to clean up after it's spun too fast in the socket. :D :o :o :(

Problem is the light won't turn on afterwards if you stop cold after half turn, then resume, and so on...

We'd break the light from spinning it too fast.

comments from SRT-4 owners when im with my FD:

- Is it the turbo model?
- I'd race you but your car would blow up...
- It has two turbos right... (turns to friend) man!, thats like twice the power
- Its RWD right, so you must drift right?

actual quotes honestly...

U R so ghey. Big man, arguing on the web. This is the best car ever made, so STFU YOU TROLL. ....

Sorry. Wait a minute. I had my baseball cap turned backwards. Let me turn it around ... there.

Yes, the lack of low-end torgue is a decided negative in overall performance but is one of the tradeoffs of the rotary engine.
