Questions about the Fumoto Engine Oil Drain Valve

Is this the correct one for a 2005 RX-8?

http://www.fumotovalve.com/merchant.cfm?pid=589&step=4

Will the valve void my warranty on any engine related problems?

Do I need the adapter?

Where is the best place to buy this?

Thanks in advance,
Topaz88

I put the fumoto valves on my RX-8, Miata, & Tundra over a year ago. You'll love it. You will need the adapter. Both the Miata and the RX-8 need one.

The F106 & ADP106 are correct. I paid $20.95 & $6.00 from Lubrication Specialist, LLC in Indiana. Shipping was $6.00 for 3 valves and 2 adapters. Their Email is sales@lubespecialist.com Phone is (317) 326-4296.

i can't even imagine how they can blame any non-drain valve related engine problems to a drain valve, and a high quality one at that!

with the drain valve you'll never have to lift the car again to change oil, assuming you have relatively long right arm :D

oh yeah, I ordered directly from www.fumotovalve.com site, I forgot how much, but it sure was quite a bit higher than what classicred paid for :o

I would think that the only possible warranty issue would be if the valve leaked and caused you to run with insufficient oil. However, this has not appeared to have been a problem among users.

I installed a Fumoto valve about a year ago and have never seen even one drop of oil leak.
