If it does reach the US, Subaru is going to have to change the name, or they'll get in trouble with Jeep :D

What Subaru calls the Liberty in Australia is our Legacy in North America. Subaru has sold the B4 version (sedan) or GTB version of the wagon with a twin-turbo 2 litre engine in Japan for years. There are rumours that a turbo 2.5 version of the Legacy will be available in North America with the redesigned version of the Legacy - I don't know if that's going to be the 2004 or 2005 model year.

Gordon thanks for reply ,the magazine says that the subaru will havea twin scroll turbowith low inertia titanium turbine ? i am not sure what this means ,however 191 kw at6500 and 343nm @2400 with the turbo shoul go quite well.

The story I read rumored of a re-designed Legacy 2.5 GT single IHI turbo like the STi here in the states as a 2005 model. I don't know about elsewhere in the world.
It looked pretty nice. Can't find any pictures now though :(
