-- I enjoy World Wrestling television shows, they are the funniest comedies on television
Rx8bydocabe 05-10-2005, 08:24 PM wwe, xbox
mpt_yellowRX8 05-10-2005, 09:11 PM I love the new shows and re-runs of America's funniest Home videos. I cry laughing, my wife just cries. She thinks it's the dumbest thing in the world.
JM1FE 05-10-2005, 09:29 PM Admit to something you are embarrassed about enjoying.
Extreme makover :o
My g/f hates TV :(
Speed-ER doc 05-10-2005, 10:37 PM pr0n, of course. :p
nomopistons 05-10-2005, 10:47 PM the silky-smooth texture of premium petroleum jelly being rubbed all over the shaft of my radio controlled car axles. What can I say they are fun to play with!
Jina_Marie070572 05-10-2005, 10:56 PM The question is what don't I enjoy...not ashamed of anything
legokcen 05-10-2005, 11:14 PM 80's Music, really loud!
Aratinga 05-11-2005, 12:01 AM I love watching Sumo tournaments and Hula competitions.
I, Claudius 05-11-2005, 11:02 AM Crystal Gayle. Heard "Half the Way" the other day on the radio and cranked it up. BTW, it's got to be one of the smuttiest schlocko pop songs ever recorded. I mean, c'mon - "Fill me up to the top"? "Love is the seed and I need you to keep it flowing"? Loretty must have been so embarassed.
Addendum: It occurs to me that "Afternoon Delight" by the Starland Vocal Band runs a close second, but it lacks any direct reference to seminal fluid. That's what puts li'l Crystal at the smut-pop pinnacle.
HeelnToe 05-11-2005, 11:15 AM Cocoa Cripsies.
Star Blazers, 2nd season (Comet Empire!) collection.
Hawaiian Punch.
The Bachelor(ette) (the real ones, not this latest stupidity).
Bubble wrap.
Rx8bydocabe 05-11-2005, 11:24 AM ditto on the 80's music
Cattywampus 05-11-2005, 11:36 AM I love the new shows and re-runs of America's funniest Home videos. I cry laughing, my wife just cries. She thinks it's the dumbest thing in the world.
Ditto on that my friend. My fiance thinks its dumb but she still laughs. What I hate the most is how stupid baby clips always win. I don't watch the last 2 minutes.
MadRonin 05-11-2005, 11:40 AM I love crappy, cheesy, action flicks. Think Van Damme or Seagal. :o :D
rotten42 05-11-2005, 11:43 AM The wife and I are closet "Cops" (TV Show) fans.
Cattywampus 05-11-2005, 11:46 AM The wife and I are closet "Cops" (TV Show) fans.
Me too.
MadRonin 05-11-2005, 11:53 AM My wife (and I) watch American Idol. :o
I tried to resist, I really did. At first it started out as just watching the lousy singers and making fun of them. Then my wife started leaving it on as background noise on nights when I worked late. Next thing I know my wife is actually critiquing and rooting for contestants. Somehow I got swept up in this madness and I watch it right along with her.
Personally I want either Vonzell or Bo to win, but I refuse to vote. I haven't gone that far over to the dark side. :o

Good boy :D The lousy ones are the best
Elara 05-11-2005, 01:20 PM I always Tivo Cops and America's Funniest Home Videos. I also like to cross stitch.
Morgan 05-11-2005, 01:26 PM i cry at old disney movies like bambie and fox and the hound..lol
Cattywampus 05-11-2005, 01:51 PM ^^ loser. j/k :D
i cry at old disney movies like bambie and fox and the hound..lol
Geez, that's all? There are movies I can't go see at the theatre because I'll make a crying spectacle of myself! Almost all those animated Disney flicks make me cry. So if that makes me a loser as well, make sure you spell that with a capital "L".
My guilty pleasures: "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives".
Photic 05-11-2005, 03:52 PM Adult Swim on Cartoon network. Mostly ATHF, Venture Brothers, SL2021, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Futurama (is it bad that I watch it when I have all of the episodes on dvd?)
mjcampb 05-11-2005, 05:29 PM OK, I'll admit to another: 80's hair band Cinderella, "Long Cold Winter" is a great album. All right, maybe Poison as well, but just a few of their songs. I do have my pride.
No More Oldsmobiles 05-11-2005, 07:10 PM I think the cyclops chick on Futurama is hot.
Is that wrong?
tiggerlee 05-11-2005, 07:27 PM I like watching old episodes of This Old House. And I never miss an episode of World's Wildest Police Video's. :D
klegg 05-11-2005, 08:24 PM I love watching Sumo tournaments and Hula competitions.
I am with you on the sumo. Espn, or inhd shows competions, I am addicted to it!

They are from SJ. I knew them before they hit big. They used to play a bar called the galaxy in vorhess.
They were a great group.
And poison ruled! My band would open with talk dirty to me.
klegg 05-11-2005, 08:28 PM My wife (and I) watch American Idol. :o

Personally I want either Vonzell or Bo to win, but I refuse to vote. I haven't gone that far over to the dark side. :o
Ok. I have to admit I voted for clay...he seemed like such a nice guy.
My money is on Bo. He reminds me of a guy I used to be friends with in collage. What you see is what he is.
I think the blonde is going to win. Her and country music=triple plat, I would think.
Ellar 05-11-2005, 09:24 PM I've been caught sitting at a stoplight enjoying the Go go's "Our Lips Are Sealed" WAY too much.
Aratinga 05-11-2005, 09:38 PM Even more than sumo and hula, I love watching live car chases on TV. We recently had two really good ones here in LA... one just a couple hours ago where the jerk was armed, driving at dangerous speeds over freeways and surface streets, and then finally pulling into the parking lot of a fast food joint with the cops right behind. Our ABC-affiliate news helicopters out here just got HDTV cameras this week, so they were zoomed in tight on the suspect as he threw open his car door, leapt out of the car with a gun in his hand, as was shot multiple times by the officers. This was live, and before they hurriedly zoomed back out you could see one bullet do a through-and-through on the dude, bursting out of his chest.
He laid there bleeding profusely for several minutes before the cops brought in the K9 to make sure he was definitely not a threat anymore. It was really funny when they let the dog loose... it was a very happy Belgian Malinois who ran over to greet some other officers at another car before she got down to business and ran over to the perp, who was lying on his belly, and grabbed a mouthful of his ass and did the "I'm killing a really big rat!" routine on him. When he didn't respond to that, they figured it was safe to go in and cuff him.

<massive snippage>
Surface streets. WTF? On behalf of the East Coast, I gotta ask...Aren't they all on the surface? Is there a huge, secret tunnel system?
Aratinga 05-11-2005, 10:31 PM Surface streets. WTF? On behalf of the East Coast, I gotta ask...Aren't they all on the surface? Is there a huge, secret tunnel system?
"Surface streets" refer to non-freeway roads. Our freeways are often either elevated above ground level or graded below ground level -- i.e., not on the natural ground surface like normal roads.
http://www.scvresources.com/highways/110-10_aerial.jpg
nomopistons 05-11-2005, 10:32 PM I like the smell of Diesel exhaust and roofing tar along with driveway sealer.
yanksfan1_67 05-11-2005, 10:42 PM I love the smell of napalm in the morning
Oh...and I've been known to catch some episodes of "America's Next Top Model" :o
Surface streets. WTF? On behalf of the East Coast, I gotta ask...Aren't they all on the surface? Is there a huge, secret tunnel system?
Yeah, that threw me when I first moved out from Ohio. Basically, the freeways are where the "real" driving takes place, then you descend to the "surface streets" near your destination. Sort of like 'Blade Runner'.
The other thing is Californians love to give little stretches of their freeways nicknames, and ignore the actual interstate highway designations. Makes listening to traffic reports a real treat for newcomers.
One of my secret pleasures is making fun of just about everything related to roads and driving in CA. :D
klegg 05-12-2005, 08:24 AM computer game magazines...and buying little $2.00 metal planes for my boys. Honest.
Picked up a eurofighter 2000, mig fulcrum and joint strike fighter from walmart a few days ago. Parked on the GI joe aircraft carrier right now. In the standard US navey protcol I did not do it. Honest. I also did not use the "cobra" tatic on my son while playing planes with him the other night.
Speed-ER doc 05-12-2005, 08:45 AM I like to watch Caliente! on the Mexican channel....even though I don't know what they are saying. :)
MaHogoff 05-12-2005, 09:22 AM i network play a half hour of "unreal tournament" (a 3 dimensional 1st-person shooter vid game) with 7 other guys every day after lunch. My mad skillz won't exactly be a resumé highlight.
klegg 05-12-2005, 09:46 AM 2004?...I have been know to play a game or two. :D
TODreamer 05-12-2005, 10:04 AM Golden Showers :D
Aratinga 05-12-2005, 10:15 AM ^^^^EEEeeeewwwwww!!!
....
You're kidding, right?
MadRonin 05-12-2005, 11:03 AM Ok. I have to admit I voted for clay...he seemed like such a nice guy.
My money is on Bo. He reminds me of a guy I used to be friends with in collage. What you see is what he is.
I think the blonde is going to win. Her and country music=triple plat, I would think.
I'd rather see Vonzell win simply because I think Bo will succeed regardless of whether he's the American Idol or not. Not that Vonzell wouldn't either, but I get a better vibe from Bo. I'd be happy with either one, I suppose.
As for Carrie, she should stick to country music. All of the pop songs she's done have been mediocre at best. Her niche is country. Hopefully once all the non-compete crap the contestants have to go through expires she can have a killer country career.
MadRonin 05-12-2005, 11:05 AM Golden Showers :D
Shirley Manson from Garbage is into those. To each their own I suppose, but I'm with Aratinga on this one. Ewwwwww.
Cattywampus 05-12-2005, 12:33 PM Arabian goggles
TODreamer 05-12-2005, 05:27 PM Rusty Trombones :D

In a way, I agree. Bo is set no matter what, and vonzell seems like a real sweet girl.
Carrie is country Gold, and that is a lock. There was a lot of talent in this group. I think that real thin girl, I forget her name, was really really good, in atina turner kind of way. I hope she gets something too.
God, we are women. How about those eagles?
klegg 05-12-2005, 06:07 PM Shirley Manson from Garbage is into those. To each their own I suppose, but I'm with Aratinga on this one. Ewwwwww.
Really? She is hot, I did not know that.
I never tried it, but I assume the thrill is a S&M kind of thing. In which case, I know a few far cleaner and mutualy pleasent things to to....
klegg 05-12-2005, 06:08 PM Another guilty pleasure.
I like flying RC airplanes and model rockets. Thank god I have boys. :D
Aratinga 05-12-2005, 06:27 PM Okay.... Todd sent me googling for Rusty Trombone. (You don't want to know. Let's just say you'd need a golden shower to clean up after one.)
After reading a few pages of definitions I just wanna know one thing... Why is the combination of excretory functions and sex such a guilty pleasure for men?! I mean, really.
MaHogoff 05-12-2005, 07:25 PM Klegg, RC airplanes ROCK! You seem to be into the escapist mentality like me.

I dare ya to try a Dirty Sanchez :D
klegg 05-12-2005, 07:35 PM Klegg, RC airplanes ROCK! You seem to be into the escapist mentality like me.
Yes, that would describe me to a t. Comic books, video games, telescope, RC...all ways to escape reality. Fact is, in the "real world" my only enjoyment is my wife and kids. The rest seems kind of meaningless anymore.
(well, I like ice cream and my car too, and working with my hands...and sex and farting. That would be about it.)
On the other hand...I am a cool dad! :D
I will try to post pics of the kleggspeed aeronautical center (the basement)
Photic 05-12-2005, 07:38 PM LMAO...
I dare ya to try a Dirty Sanchez :D
I invented a shot called the Dirty Sanchez.
1/2 Quick chocolate milk mix
1/2 Tequila
khoney 05-12-2005, 08:01 PM farting...
mjcampb 05-12-2005, 08:03 PM Another guilty pleasure.

Guilty, but not embarrassed to admit it. Never tried rockets though.
Here's a couple pics of what happens when the hi-start releases too early when launching a sailplane, of course it was my fault. Not too bad, but my worst crash so far, I've only been flying a year so far. Fun.
klegg 05-12-2005, 08:08 PM Not bad at all...some epoxy or ca and you will be right back in the air. Have you tried a foam plane? They take a beating. I have posted it before, but hobby lobby has a real nice selection of mostly foam planes. I have a wingo myself, and I am converting an old MRC plane to brushless now.

Nope, I built balsa and tissue models as a kid and frankly, I enjoy the build process more than the flying. Foam kits seems to finished already. I think I'm going to try electrics next, the gas models seem way too much for my current skills and I would most likely join a club and learn that way. For now, I rather enjoy the quiet flight of the sailplanes, peaceful.
Aratinga 05-12-2005, 08:24 PM LMAO...
I dare ya to try a Dirty Sanchez :D
No Way, señor! But I'll try Photic's version.... and I bet Phee will join me (she likes tequila).
klegg 05-12-2005, 08:35 PM I have to post a photo of my brothers plane. A carl goldberg ultimate Bi he was working on when he died. I can not finish it with his level of skill, and I do not have the heart to have someone else do it, so it sits, unfinished.
So, here is the kleggspeed plane shop, the wingo, my brothers bI plane...and the cool 4 stroke prototype engine a friend tested for OS..they gave him the engine, he gave it to my brother. This thing would have screamed..
mjcampb 05-12-2005, 09:07 PM I have to post a photo of my brothers plane. A carl goldberg ultimate Bi he was working on when he died. I can not finish it with his level of skill, and I do not have the heart to have someone else do it, so it sits, unfinished.
You really should try to finish it, it's the right thing to do in my opinion. Then fly it only once and retire it.
klegg 05-12-2005, 09:34 PM I could never finish it like he could. And I would be so scared it would crash. It is weird, but the things I have that were his are so precious to me.
I thought abvout having his friend finish it, and cover it in clear film...but I get nervous thinking about it going out of the house.
I have some issues, I know.

Everyone has their kink, no matter what they say. That portion of the kinky world just ain't my thang!
Cattywampus 05-13-2005, 09:47 AM Or the French tickler
klegg 05-13-2005, 10:35 AM Sorry if I overstepped, it was not my intent.
No no, not at all! I would agree with you...except For the reasons I said.
Hell, how can anyone overstep anything with me? I am so far over the line, well, the line is a forgotten memory! ;)
klegg 05-13-2005, 10:35 AM Everyone has their kink, no matter what they say. That portion of the kinky world just ain't my thang!
We need to talk about the area of the kinky world were we have common ground... ;)
klegg 05-13-2005, 10:36 AM Or the French tickler
Damn french..now they are tickling? You are a cop, is there nothing you can do to stop this madness??
Cattywampus 05-13-2005, 10:50 AM I have no jurisdiction:D On your own
We need to talk about the area of the kinky world were we have common ground... ;)
And it would appear we have MUCH in the way of common ground!
Anyone else ever witnessed your "play"?
klegg 05-13-2005, 02:45 PM um, after a fashion. It is a long story. :o

Guilty pleasures?
Hmmm...
I enjoy it when I'm at the gym and girls blantly stare at me cause I'm the only guy in there the consitantly breaks a sweat. There are "pretty boys" that work out there too, but they are just "hanging out". I've had a few come out and ask for tips(girls that is). I think the fact that I workout in my Army PT Uniform makes me more approchable...
Shopping. My cousins are always calling me to go shopping with them because I have good/great taste. My ex on here admitted the same. A few of my female soldiers asked when is the next time I go with my cousins, cause they wanted to tag along.
Owning two fun cars- a 99 10AE Miata as a DD and a 94 RX7 as a pleasure car. Problem is money to modify both. Iraq should take of that problem. A 383 Stroker LS1 is going in the seven, and the Miata is getting Ubercharged.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall for THAT conversation! :p
Aw, heck, I'd tell YOU! *cough* *cough* cheerleader *cough* *cough*
I just couldn't put it on the board for the faint of heart.
klegg 05-13-2005, 06:39 PM Yeah insta ban and all cough cough(large picture windows in a hotel with an audiance of about 300 prom kids 3 storys below because I said too.) cough

::cough::bendingoverthebalconyrailing::cough::
In San Diego no less. I forget which hotel, but it was a tall one... great view of the nighttime skyline too. Next time I'll wave at ya, Phee! ;)

Probably the Hilton if it was downtown. Geez, I'll have to start checking those balconies more closely (*cough* binoculars *cough*) next time! I can hear it now:
"Hey, I know her! HEY, TINGA!!! LOOKIN' GOOD, LADY!"

Same thing (I was not the one bending!) on the top tower of the closed brigitine castle amusement pier. With the moaning, the locals must have thought it was haunted. :o We are sooo walking the line here
doccable 05-13-2005, 08:16 PM i cry at old disney movies like bambie and fox and the hound..lol
"Who cried when Old Yeller got shot ?"
I can't think of any guilty pleasures I might have. I'm pretty much not embarrassed by anything I take pleasure in. :D
Mistersql 09-07-2006, 03:09 PM Oh yeah, I just remembered one of mine.
Sparkling wine. It's not a guilty pleasure because I drink lots of it, I don't drink that much. The guilty pleasure is because this stuff can be so cheap sometimes and I find it soooo good.
I have to admit that I'm not a wine conaisseur (duh) but I've had nice bottles of real champagne like Veuve Clicquot and can't tell the difference. Then again I don't compare both back to back. But to me it's all the same. Sometimes it pays to be ignorant I guess since I save quite a few bucks in susbstituting for teh cheaper stuff.
...
Oh I know
That the music's fine
Like sparkling wine...
delrmx01 09-07-2006, 05:36 PM WOW -- a year and a half later. LOL
Mistersql 09-07-2006, 05:50 PM Yeah I know, I didn't know what to write back then apart from maybe liking disco and 80's music a little too much. And then I remembered today that I hadn't seen the thread in a while and felt a sudden urge to post my shame for liking sparkling wine.
zaglo6204 09-07-2006, 09:15 PM mine has to be the ridiculous amount of time i spend on here :D
SilverEIGHT 09-08-2006, 12:05 AM American Idol! :o:
Watching Dog the Bounty Hunter. Ooohhh, I'm embarrassed to even post that. But you have to love him.
