I'd say your dad needs a decent criminal lawyer to make sure he comes out of this with no sort of record. Any civil action, though, is just going to cost you a lot of money with only limited chance of success. The other side can call dozens of witnesses who will all call you a liar, and I doubt any video would be good enough to show any different. It is a VERY good thing that you didn't break anybody's bones, or you would be having to deal with the prosecutor, too.

I'm sorry I can't recommend anybody in Surprise. I'll ask around, though.
