Just bought my 8. 04 Sunlight silver, 6MT, Bose, appearance, Grand Touring, Mazdaspeed front, rear, and side skirts, clear corners, K&N intake, RB exhaust (I think). I will try and make it to one of the meets here soon. I live in Laguna Beach. Used to own a fd a few years ago and haven't had a rotary since. Gotta love them.

Anyway, where should I go to get the brakes checked out? They need to be cut pretty bad, but I am not sure about the pads. I also need to get the 30K service done, any recommendations on a dealership? I saw the thread about a few of the shops and I will read up, but I wanted to introduce myself. See you guys around.

BTW, I am selling my truck since I got the 8 last week. 2002 Dodge Ram Regular Cab. 12,500 obo, fully loaded.

There's a Meet in Tustin this Thursday, it's in a thread somewhere...

Congrats, hope to see ya soon, you can learn a lot from other members about maintaining the car and where to get parts/service...

No way. I told myself I'd mount it if I got stopped 3 times. I've had the car almost a year and haven't been stopped once (knock on wood).

Swap out the K&N intake for the new Racing Beat REVi. Several dynos done by the member on this board showed the K&N actually lost hp for the car. Congrats on the car, it sounds pretty sweet.
