Ok so I took my car in to have my rotors painted. Days later I went to Tire Plus to have my front driver tire replaced and the tech had told me that the 2 screws were not screwed in! I wonder if Mazda screwed the rest of my rotors in. How bad is this?

Only the front rotors have screws holding the rotor to the hub. The rear rotors are held by the wheel-studs-lug nuts when the wheel is installed. Were the screws missing or just not tightened? If they were there but not tightened it shouldn't be a problem. The tire guy probably tightened them and you're good to go.

If the screws were missing it's not a mechanical problem because the wheel will hold the rotor in place, but it certainly is evidence of a very sloppy job by whoever did the work. Take it in and have them install the screws. And you might want to lodge a complaint with management in either case.

Doesn't your dealership give you a follow-up call after a visit to their service department? Most do. If they do, you should at least register a complaint at that time. Just out of curiosity, is this Fitzgerald you're dealing with?

No kidding Im sick of this. Im just trying to avoid dealerships or anything handling my car except for me period. If no one touches my car it will be mighty fine.
