This might be old news, but a gaming magazine i picked up the other day did a write up of the forthcoming GT4 game. Of course, they had the Z, the RX8 and an S2000 pictured going around a track.

Can't wait to get it and then bump off the Z and the S2000 in a race....

i have a PS2 and a Gamecube...i only have Metroid, Zelda, Super Monkey Ball 2, and Monopoly Party for GC but i have tons of games for PS2 like GT3 w/ the Logitech Wheel and all the Final Fantasies

you're never too old to play video games!

Is anyone else looking to put the PS2 in your car so you can play on the NAV screen? If it proves we're not able to play movies with stock reader I'm pretty sure I'm gonna.

Using the stock equipment, I doubted that anyway. We should be able to splice in for an auxillary video input and sound though. I want to do some custom install of the PS2 anyway. Now I can justify it since I won't be able to play movies with the factory stuff.

anyone here ever play San Fransisco Rush (1, 2, or 2049?) Not exactly realistic, but then, that's what made it fun. :)

nope. Nothing will.

Oh and drifting you don't have 2 understand it... its for show, but its fun "very fun." Drag races I don't understand... 10 second of boringness. If you got the money you can do whatever on a straight line.

I Have an XBOX and a GC. I'm not really into the simulation racers like Gran Turismo. If you just want a high speed, exciting, addictive racer then pick up a copy of BURNOUT 2!! It is NOT realistic and a total arcade racer, but it is the most fun I've had playing a video game in a long time and by far the best racer available. I think it is available for all systems. If you have all 3 systems, then get the version for the XBOX. It has the best graphics and faster load times.

hahaha... the best arcade stupid-racing game i ever played, no joke, is Midnight Club 2... if you love cars, you simply must own a PS2. GT1, 2, 3, and 4, GTA's, Midnight Club, F355 Challenge (<-hardest bloody thing ever), Colin McRae Rally, etc etc etc... it don't get better than that.

ummmmm.... the "enhancements" list only claims that there will be an "enhanced port"... all that other stuff (plus online gaming) is already on the PS2 version...

btw: game reviews know dick-all about cars. everyone complains about the "awkward handling" of the vehicles in AutoModellista, and that's because it's a drift game...

oh, Initial D is actually not a bad game. played it in the arcade... wonder if it'll make it to PS2??? :)

YEAH! That game is awesome ... though I've only rented it for xbox. Any game that combines the FD, Supras, S2000s, 350zs, WRXs, Evos, Skylines, and S7s rules! There's nothing like barrelling through oncoming traffic on a nos boost that gets you to 220 mph. Not much replay value, but a lot of fun while it lasts. :D
