It's for SPL competition, people reinforce their car's with concrete so it won't shake the sh*t out of ithe car & to improve SPL & also replace all the windows with steel.It'll probably blow your windows off a normal car. :D

That's the stuff I'm talking about.
I had two Soundstream SPL160s in a 86 honda accord back in highschool. It was great butt numbing bass. The speakers actaully came with earplugs. I think that's why I do not hear some things sometimes.
I was wondering if they still made subs and found this beast.

Considering that the average sub plays about 20% distortion along with the audio sinewave, that 1% is a non existent factor in the terms of anyones abilty to hear it, even if you have Bionic ears.
^^^^ the subs listed above, I am working on 3 different vehicles right now with those exact subs, a 2000 Expedition, a customers self install in a old school Buick and a 2005 Acura RSX. Big bad babies....
