With the vanishing of those threads goes Fubar's paypal account information for the beer donations. I presume RX-Nut has received his address via PM to follow through with the offer of Macadamia Nuts. Then there was that "when you come to Texas here's a Texas Porterhouse Steak" deal from Boowana. I hope you collect on all of the offers IBFUBAR2000!:D

The VIN threads were like our very own wildfire! Probably went the forum thread equivalent of "Platinum" in record time. A veritable feeding frenzy much to the shagrin of RX-3_13B_Tommo, our friend downunder, who rightly pointed out how egocentric we Yanks are. Yep, always have been, always will be.:p And yes, Austrailia is a staunch ally in the war on terrorism with the USA deserving of much more recognition than they receive. "We love you, man!"

But I digress. In commemoration of the day the VINs died, I would like to proclaim this to be the first RX8CLUB forum holiday to honor the work of these two outstanding forum members. Each year on July 1st we all meet back here to heap praise and salutations on IBFUBAR2000 and BUDAMAN and swap stories of the drunken parties they have attended over the past 12 months as they cash in on the grateful generosity of VIN enlightened members. And I'm sure Tommo would like to throw a few shrimp on the barbe for goodwill if they get a chance to visit Austrailia, too!

So, let's hear it for these two great RX-8 patriots...

edit: i will still check vin numbers for people who wish to pm me. i will check vins up until i see a customers name on them then i will stop running that vin.

The same goes for me! I wish we could push some magic button for you all and get your cars to you. To all of you in Texas that are buying from Haas, Hiley or Freeman, I've known all of them for years and they are all great guys that will do you right, and don't be afraid to tell them I said so!

We can't have VIN numbers publicly splashed all over the forum anymore for liability/privacy reasons. It's for Forum, Mazda, and your own safety and privacy when you take delivery of your 8. No hard feelings or animosity whatsoever, just a required CYA and looking out for our members.
