On the same theme - my best friend loves monkeys. When he got married, the wedding cake toppers were this chimp couple (in a tux and a dress, respectively), and everyone thought it was the coolest thing. A few of us snuck out of the reception to 'decorate' his Land Rover :D with, among other things, these markers made for writing on car windows like dealers use for advertising. One of the back side windows got drawn with a pair of amorous simians, and captioned 'Hot Monkey Love'. When they got back from their honeymoon they scrubbed the Rover clean execept for that one window, which they left for weeks until it finally got rained away.

Good story. My cake topper was two teddy bears, like a bride and groom. Sitting in the china cabnet.
