Keep it lighthearted, this isn't a place to badmouth any of the contestants and the poll is meant in humor. Some others made it close to making the poll and were niminated but I think we got the main guys, and also anyone that was nominated twice in the lounge.

I know the limitations of the RX8...

Fuel economy:
By my ownership experience (taking it to 9K about 3 times weekly) I am getting 19mpg in mainly city driving so far. For me it’s not a complaint while I know a lot of 8’s out there and their owners are getting pathetic fuel economy.

Acceleration: 6sec & 14.5 is not slow by my standards

Does that mean I’m satisfied? NO…because it’s competitors are significantly faster (Mustang GT & GTO) while other semi-competitors are also faster but not as much as those two listed. 4dr Evo & STI are significantly faster too. But let’s think about it a moment…

GTO 350HP (+112HP)
Mustang GT 300HP (it actually probably has more in my opinion) (+62HP)

Others:

S2000 240HP (but lighter than the 8…I think?) The most fair comparison by power/weight
350Z 287HP (+49HP)
EVO & STI (+50, 60? Not sure)

So, it makes sense that those cars are faster. I wish the 8 had 300HP and I tend to agree that it seems it’s making less HP than the advertised 238…that’s a complaint. I wish the door airbag cover was soft since when I get out it hurts my elbow. I wish the door storage could actually fit my hand in without a problem. I wish the 8 had a higher highway fuel economy number than 24mpg. I wish there was just a "bit" more room in the back seats. I wish the interior was better resistant to scratches. So on...and so on...

I show NO hate for other cars and I’m a complete CAR GUY so I can see the good in almost any car, especially sports cars. Point me where I hated on another car. I like all the cars listed above…but because I picked the 8 does not mean I hate the other cars.

Now…I’m not angry about it or anything and I understand you want it lighthearted, I just don’t think I fit your mold of a “fanboi”. You don’t have to take me off or anything…again, I bother you sometimes so please don't think I'm mad about it. I just don't fit the mold of a fanboi...that's all... :p :)

Making logical statements and ones that are just off the wall are two different things. I post my opinions a lot (which I have the right to do). If you cant back up your useless arguments then that's not my fault. The main two that should belong on the list for liking their cars too much have posted a couple of time on this Thread already. And the main one of them Originator of the Thread. Every opinion of my is logical and feasible.

Mostly Ike is disappointed because I voice my opinions towards Subaru's and EVO's (But he wont admit to it). I've said in numerous threads that I fell their both ugly.(In My Opinion) Their both Fast due to their Turbo's(which EVERYONE knows), but both would be slow as hell if they didn't have the Turbo's(which basically everyone knows) even if Ike and few other won't admit. I give my hats off to them on the design of their turbo inspired engines? Please, any manufacture can drop a Turbo into a car and make it fast as hell.

My opinion will stay the same unless you show me other wise. Yes, the RX8 is slower than a 350Z, but not by much. Yes, the RX8 is slower than the EVO and STI, but not slower if given a Turbo like they have. But to call the 8 slow it just ludacris. What are you comparing it to if your calling it slow? A Ferrari? All my statements are a legitimate! If you cant see what's possibilities there are and WHAT IF statements that are actually legit then how could I make any sense to you. People like that miss out on a lot. Remember I MAKE LEGITIMATE STATEMENTS. I have made a few mistakes in some previous threads, which I now realize due to more knowledge but if making a thread like this makes you feel better than more power to you. I'm not the one that's sleeping on the couch dreaming all the time.

I know the capability of my car and its a lot more than what you two think of it. Especially Ike and BlueEyes!

As Ike mentioned this thread is entirely in jest, no need to get upset. There is no one on this earth that can take away your opinions on anything, think what you want and be satisfied with that.
