Had a nice laugh today. Went to the Future shop in Burlington (on Fairview) and as I walk near the entrance, there's these 3 cadets (like 12ish). One group of 2 and another 1 a little further off.

As I walk past them, I hear the lone guy scream at the others: "No, that's not a Ferrari, that's a Mazda!"

Needless to say, I got a good chuckle.

Bumped into an old part time flame just outside a grocery store. She always thought she was better than me. Played hard to get for even a damn kiss.
Anyway, we talk, tells me I look great. I tell her I've got a new car. We go over to look at it. I open the doors, turn on the stereo and her mouth drops. She now goes wet. Tell her my female friends call it a Chick Magnet. She asks if it works like that. I say Big Time ! Then she tells me it looks like a "Boxster". I say hello .. Boxster ?? that piece of crap. No baby this is not a Boxster. This is an RX8 !!
She says "call me" ... I say "I threw your number out a year ago" ... Jumped in the car and hammered it.... :cool: Ohhhh I love my 8 !!

So Raquel and I pull into a full service gas station on Wed after work. We were last at the pump. 1 Kompressor (also chick driven), 2 beaters and Raquel. Didn't the gas jockey just come over and take care of Raquel first with the comment "hot chick in a hot car". Amazing what a difference a car makes. I've never been "hot" by any terms before.

Then there's the parking lot at the Eaton Centre. There are self service machines at the exit, but there's a young dude in a booth in case of difficulty. Everytime he sees Raquel pulling up to the machine, he runs out of his booth, comes over to the car to "help" me put my ticket and credit card into the machine and take the receipt out. Really, I'm not that dumb, I can actually manage the task as I did so all winter in my 94 Corolla, without any assistance :)

If this is middle age, "bring it on"!

I adore Raquel more and more and more. So it seems, does half the world who sees her. :cool:

I was driving my friend and her little sister home. She thought the car was a lambourghini .... I went along with it . I got a good laugh out of that one .
