The 2nd West coast ship left either on 6/16 or 6/17. If the ships are taking around 11 days to get here, this ship should be at our doorstep (California that is).

Anyone know anything about it's whereabouts???

scheduled arrival in CA was today (27 Jun)

I was under the impression that the 2nd ship wouldn't be taking the reverse route that the 1st shipment did and that it would be docking in Tacoma before it came to Port Hueneme. Has this changed?

I am old and forget and get confused. ...Did we have someone who was providing information about Port H when the first ship came in or was it just on Tacoma?

The second West Coast boat arrived. Fubar ran my VIN this morning and it is showing at port! :D :D :D

didn't see this thread before i posted in discussion. second boat has definately docked and the third boat has left japan. talk to you monday.

From what I've come up with (plenty of hearsay and conjecture) the second boat is at the port, and our cars, barring any lengthy unseen delays, should be on a train for 2 days, at distribution "port" for another 4 or so and then on a truck? Does that sound like second week of July to anyone else? I'm getting sick of having to ride the damn bus to work.... Where's that big hunk of air-conditioned aluminum I ordered 4 months ago?

BTW - what is general VIN range on the 2nd boat? I'm almost certain mine's on, but talking to my dealer is like talking to a chimp with a pencil in his teeth...


And just for the sake of ranting: Couldn't Mazda track the cars better than the 2 days delayed info (available only to the dealer) with the customer left in the dark? Hell, I could send a package of post-it notes to Maine with Fed-Ex and I could track it the whole way, any time of day, without having to bother my dealer who's too "busy" with new car sales to be concerned about selling the halo cars he's NEVER seen.
