And then they bitch when the 350 ppl MAKE MORE Fun of the car. Like ive seen it a s2k guy comes here says something and than gets booed out. Its the mentality of a owner of a car you defend even though it sucks ass. Think of what it feels like waking up to a civic everyday.

Actually, I LIKE the lack of low end torque. Let those who can't deal drive something else. Let the kids run their tricked out Evo's and Sti's into light poles. Let the horsepower whores spin their tires and drool over car magazine numbers. Let the nameplate snobs spend 20 minutes in the parking lot trying to figure out which of the 330 silver 330i's is theirs. In the meantime, I'll be driving my 8, weaving through traffic and hugging canyon curves. Leave the RX-8 for the drivers. Not the racers, not the posers, the drivers.

I think I'd look at the Vette, M3 and SLK 55 but there's a really good chance I'd still find myself sitting in the 8. I mean, it's an unpretentious sports car with a back seat. How can you do better? (ahem.....Cobra?) :)

Find an active forum dedicated to a car that costs $6000 less than the 8, look for an 8 owner that reads the forum religiously every day, "keeping the * owners honest" about the capabilities of the less expensive car compared to the 8, and there you have your fanboi.

It's in the same spirit as the troll awards. If the people that are nominated can't take a joke and laugh at themselves then they should lighten up. I take being called a troll in stride, I just don't see how this is any different.
