3 months to go until SevenStock 6!

91 days to prep your cars, clean your engine bays, and wax your rides... It doesn't matter if your car looks like a show car or not, old or new, project car, daily driver, track car, or show car, if it has a rotary under the hood it is welcome! We also welcome the brand new rotary powered RX-8's to the show, we hope to see these new cars come out in force. Sevenstock has been the largest gatherings of R100's RX-2's RX-3's, RX-4's, RX-5's, REPUs since they left the factory. Don't let your classic rotary miss out this year!

We've freshed the info on the website to reflect this year's event. So, if you haven't done so, visit:
http://www.SevenStock.org

We've added a link to Hotels.com to search for cheaper hotels in the area, but we still recommed the Hilton. AAA members can get a room for base rate of $80 a night at the Irvine Hilton.

Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport
18800 MacArthur Blvd.
Irvine, California
92612
1-949-833-9999

We are gearing up for the Banquet too. You remember the banquet from last year? Where the RX-8 line manager showed real testing footage of a RX-7 Spirit-R and a RX-8 Prototype? This wasn't marketing hype, it was raw-from-the-camera footage.

Banquet tickets will be mailed to you once you complete payment (either via paypal or check/money order made out to RotaryNews.com) Check the website for more info.

The SevenStock Forum has been re-activated at the RX7Club.com. You can use the forum to organize caravans, setup meeting places, and get in touch with folks you haven't seen since last SevenStock.

Lastly, we reduced the prices of SevenStock4 and 5 shirts. Use these links to get to the sale prices!

At least you are half way there. Too bad AMTRAK doesn't do east-west car trains.:(

people come from a lot farther away... i'd go, but:

1. no rotary ride

2. (more importantly) i'll be 3 weeks into my next school semester :(!!!

In a word: Ditch.

I ditched a boat load of classes when I was in college, and I came out fine.. hell I graduated with a 3.5 or something... (I guess it could have been closer to a 4 if I didn't ditch :p )

hahaha... look man, i did that for my first year and a half so far, and i've got a 2.6 to show for it... i'm already in my department of choice, but i think it's time to start pulling some more A's in (only 1 so far...)

[/PARENT_ON] You need to find the proper motivation to apply your self now. HOW MANY DOORS ARE YOU CLOSING WITH YOUR POOR GRADES? [PARENT_OFF]

Have a blast, you can never go back and relive your college years. Make them count!

:o seriously, i'm very flattered...

...but yeah... there were a lot of factors which conspired to distract me and convolute my conception of what school was all about and where my time was best spent, but i've been working for about 5 months now as a pseudo-professional (accouting) and i'm very optimistic about my return this fall :).

aaaaaaaaaaanyways, *anti-thread creep mode*

how many of you RX-8'ers will be heading to SS6 this fall, after you get your cars (presumably to complete the break-in phase on your wheels ;))????

I'm saving my remaining week of vacation to attend the SCCA Solo II Nationals this year. I'll probably drive up there in the RX-8, but I won't have any race tires for it until after Christmas, so I'll be co-driving someone else's car in the competition.
