JeRKy 8 Owner

Ive recently moved and went to service my 2004 automatic Rx8 w/30k miles on it at a new dealership andI saw a red 2004 6spd manual Rx8 w/Grand Touring two tone red&black leather and almost 6000 miles on it - never titled. They say this "technically" makes it a brand new car w/a shitload of miles. Exterior and interior were perfect condition. Apparently the owner of the dealership kept that one for 5000 miles or so. Theyve had the car on their lot since May 2004. Salesman I dealed with claims its thelast 2004 Rx8 left in the area (I cant really verify that b/c 2004s dont come up anymore in my area whenI search on Mazdas site but it may be true).
While waiting for my car in service I wantedto see what the numbers would be likeon a swap for something like this - since a turbo kit for my automatic would run me a little over 5000 + additionals for it to workon my car + no more warranty.
So I figured what the hell and yanked the guys chain and acted like I was interested in swapping. They wanted togive me 20000 for my 2004 sports package automatic (which was pretty decent I thought) - its got 29k miles on it - small crack on the front bumper right before the grile (barely noticeable) which would need to be completely replaced- small deep scratch on the right of the rear bumper (whichneeds to be completely repainted) - ding on the hood and a couple dings on the left and right doors. Ive owned it for nearly 2 years.
Anyway after an hour of deliberations the lowest I got them down to on the 2004 6spd GT thats been sitting on their lot for nearly a year w/just about 6000 miles on it is 26000 out the door. They looked looked atme asif that were some amazing hot shit deal but I wasnt so impressed especially after reading that others on here have picked up 04 GT Rx8s w/NAV and less than 1000 miles on them for 24000 out the door. Swapping my 2 year old 30kmiles automatic to an untitled 2004 6spd GT w/6k miles for 6000 sounds too high. Even w/that Gerber rebate I justread about thatwould only knock it down to 5500.
I guess I shouldnt be too surprised - Imean it is a South Florida based stealership after all. Though Iwas only half serious - Id probably get more money for the 6spd GT in a couple years than for my automatic sports package. Then againI could just keep mine and go the turbo route in a few months.
I do think theyare giving me a lot for my dinged up automatic Rx8 (w/only sports package) but what do you guysthink about this? How muchwould you say a never titled 2004 6spd Rx8 GT w/6000 miles was worth out the door today?
Also forgot to mention that they will extend the warranty to 56000 miles since this vehicle alreadyhas 6000 miles on it. I currently have a Titanium (my favorite color) while this 04 that they have is red (one of my least favorite).
