Would importing a car mean I can get the higher powered version that the Japs and Yanks are getting?

Anyone looked into this option yet?

US wouldnt realy be an option, Left hand drive an' all, no fog light etc.

Japan would, and theres even some 350Z's privatly imported and for sale, at a HUGE extra cost. £36-37000 for a 350Z I remember seeing. Still have some 'work' to do with spedo's etc too.

Would be cheaper to get the UK car's ECU fixed and worry about warantly issues when they arriese.
