Just got one of these red babies this weekend. I traded in our Ford Windstar, quite a leap huh! Well I'm 52 the kids are gone and now it is time to enjoy life again! Just can't wait to break in this puppy and and turn her loose! It is fun already at only 4000 rpm!!

This was the best thing I have ever bought. I, too, have grown kids. Myself and the wife love to drive this car. Enjoy....enjoy :)

Congrats! Go easy on her for the first 2K (check out racing beat's website for break-in info) and let her lose after that. I've just gone over 2K on my baby and I'm loving the 8 MORE AND MORE as the days go by!

Enjoy and welcome!

You've had it for 18 months and still haven't driven it yet? I don't think that I could have exercised that restraint.

Thanks to all for the welcome! Looks like there are quite a few old geezards here to keep me company. We may look old but we can shift faster than you youngsters!!

You really should drive it. How have you managed to keep the car for this long without driving it? :p

Seriously though, this is the best possible 39th birthday present I could have got. It's a coincidence that the car turned up on my birthday, but who's complaining.

The best part is the family (wife and kid) loves it as well, so I get to drive it that much more than I expected!
