For all who want to Tint the Windows in your new cars:

I found the ONLY professional window tint shop that has the laser plotter system in New England. The Laser Plotter system (as described by another member ) mechanically cuts the window film with the window dimensions specific for each car. End result, perfectly cut film that looks like factory tint.
I have had many cars done here in they do excellent work. I called the owner yesterday and he said he would get the RX8 window software downloaded into the laser plotter within a weeks time. It would be a shame to hack the tint job on a car that ALL tint shops are unfamiliar with. Please make sure your shop uses this new system, it really makes a difference. He did not want to quote me a price because he has never seen the car, but I would assume around $200.
If anyone lives in the Mass area, or anyone who wants tint applied using the laser plotter system in the New England area, I will PM them the name and number of the shop(I dont think I am allowed to post the name......correct me if I;l wrong:)

This may be a dumb question, but I wonder if they could just cut the tint and ship to customers who can install it themselves? Anyone know of a tint shop that uses this plotter system who can do that?

(I've done tint a few times and cutting is always the hardest part for me.)

Some tint manufacturers can send you pre-cut tint directly when you order online.

I'm still searching for an online store with pre-cut tint for the RX8. I've asked a few and the ones that bothered to reply basically said no, sorry... Any recommendations?
