Earlier someone had mentioned meeting up with 8 owners. If there is anyone interested in doing so, post back to see if it is even worth doing.

Some other car groups that I hang with meet up in the Schaumburg area, pretty easy for everyone to get to.

Places like the Fuddruckers, Unos, Qdoba, etc...

I know that some other car clubs meet at streets of woodfield (schamburg) and if anyone is into kart racing, chicago indoor racing in buffalo grove.

 

Streets is cool but security has sorted cracked down on that as a good meeting place. Basically, if you are hanging out in the parking lot and you don't have a drink from Starbucks or someplace, they will run you off.

Fuddruckers, Unos and Qdoba in Schaumburg are car club friendly places. Another club that I'm in usually rotates between those place and then heads to Strabucks at Streets of Woodfield after dinner...

We've met up with the RX7 guys in the parking garage at Streets last year... nobody gave us any trouble. Schaumburg works for me, since I'm way out west in the corn fields : )

^ Hey thanks. I think I'm the oldest member here (Dec 2002) without an 8. My wife and I are expecting a daughter in June and just I started a new job at a great company so family comes before car. We'll have to take a drive out to your place this summer to test out the gas powered margarita machine. :D

 

Double congrats then! Is that your first child? Daughters are great, until you have too many : )

About that damn blender... stupid piston ring was brittle and cracked, so I haven't sourced a new one yet. I may just scrap the DIY aspect and buy a pre-fabbed one... I just love the concept :D
