I found copies of the new Wired magazine at the local Borders last night. Behind the front cover - fold out - so the inside is 3 pages wide. Depicts a shiny new Velocity Red RX-8. Inside cover part shows the instrument pod. Nice ad, not very unusual compared to say ads in the Italian version of "Max" but it should turn some heads that don't know much or nothing about the RX-8. Wasn't enough to compel me to buy the mag - figure I'll just save the $5 towards the cost of my car!
I can't believe my fingers typed 'Winning Red'- what were they thinking. I do know the color matched what I ordered, "Velocity Red" ...sorry for the confusion!

Nice, I hope they put an ad for the Velocity Blue RX-8!:p I'd go buy the magazine just for the heck of it! :D

It's going to be our only car for the whole family and not everyone can drive a stick! Since it's not officially MY car, i really can't make the decision about the transmission! but i think if i nagged ALOT about it (my mother is the only one who can't drive a manual, excluding aunts,uncles and relatives), i could've gotten the manual! my dad realizes the loss in hp b/w the auto and the manual, but i'm letting everyday practicality get in the way and i think the auto would be more suitable for us!

Maybe I need to go out and buy one of each - the Wired add shows the tach at 9500 although the words on the front page still say 9000 RPM!
