Anyone from here drives a white RX8 that crash into the railing near Compass Point yesterday? I hope you are fine. Saw the ambulance.

I did not bid for it ,flip though the newspaper and found out that someone is selling a ESplate 9933 and I bought it.

Not very expensive.

Best of all I already got a ET9933. so this ES9933 is just one bratch before it.

:) so I'm quite happy with it

I did not bid for it ,flip though the newspaper and found out that someone is selling a ESplate 9933 and I bought it.

Not very expensive.

all these kukus, cannot handle the car but wan to run fast fast, "cup" corners without braking, trying to test the car handling abilities (their reasoning: I put strut bar for f**k???)....... must be those young and hot headed pple..... and must be boy racer car WRX....... used to be civics crashing here n there, now WRX is taking over....

cun stand young punks driving a wrx as if they are bloody king of the roads.

if they were really racing then i can only say they deserve it....

You are damn right man.. today I was driving on the PIE on the way to Yap Brothers and guess what, I saw 2 cars racing down the right lane from my back mirror and I immediately siam to the side.. but funny part is... 1. The sabaru turns out to be a fake WRX.. ( normal impreza with body kit)... and 2. the chaser.. is non other then a orange coloured 20 year old model super beng civic with loud exhaust.. so damn dangerous and irritating..

Hey morganoh, I will sure flash you when i catch you on the road.. :D I was thinking maybe we could all go customised some RX 8 club sticker and put it on the corner of our window to distinguish btw ourselves or stick our nick ard the back too.. hahaa.. that would be fun for a bunch of old man like us... :D

Unfortunately, this idea has been talked about, almost to death, but until today I haven't seen or heard about any progress on it. Hor?? Adam? It seems like we have the expertise to design and the means to produce it, but so far it's still NATO leh. If most people are agreeable to this idea, we shud juz get it done! Hopefully we can decide on this once and for all at the next meet. :cool:

its not a RX8!!!!! its a mx5 and a WRX... the RX8 is mine and i was there after the accident for my frend... though the mx5 is badly damaged and the WRX is overturned... both drivers are fine! they are not racing... road slippery so skid

well pls define ur definition of speeding. is driving at 100km/h speeding? cos tt is wat speed they both driving at. anyway its not raining, its just tt the road is still wet from the rain in the afternoon. wat's done is done... & hope both of them learned their lessons!

anyway regardless if u koe or if u dunno how to handle the car, you still stand to have a chance to get into accidents when speeding...

Things do happen. And I think further dwelling on this topic will make us look like we're gloating at other people's demise. :o
unless there are huge debris on the road which is very very unlikely in spore roads, i still dun see how a car can turn over so easily.....

the REX hit the side barriers on the road then flipped... not cos they collided then flipped!

think mugo is right... we shld just stop discussing abt this... just let it be a lesson to all of us that we must all DRIVE carefully :o

Another lesson for you

Normally after an accident, especially speeding is concern, drivers would normally declare at least 30kmph slower than the actual speed :rolleyes:

Try driving around 110km/h at 3rd gear & brake & change to 2nd gear around >90km/h, the rpm should read around 8000rpm, the rear wheel will drift & u do this at cornering, good luck ! unless u r trained & like drifting
Think it drifted cos you are still clutched in during the turn when you are changing gears. That caused the wheels to lose traction. But by the way, you can drift at any gears if the speed is high enough cos the wheels will always lose traction when you turn at very high speed(not enough friction lah)

flipping is quite common if the car has high CG and your wheels hit the side. But normally the speed should be high. I dun think you will flip at 50 but at 80 to 90 then there is a possibility. And 80-90 on an expressway is not speeding. Guess the person is just unfortunate.

sgrenesis was with us at West Coast Macs last night so hope it's not Ringer. Else the other two white 8s that I know of is the one with the triple tailpipes and the 777 with the MazdaSpeed bodykit.
