Today I got pulled over for not having a front licence plate on the 8. He said his going to give me a ticket, but never did, he just took down my name and phone number and said to get the front plate on. My question is did he let me go with a warning or is the ticket going to be mailed to me? This is my first time getting pulled over, so I dont know about these things.

I doubt he will give you a ticket, he is just trying to scare you strait. If a cop means business he means it, and he would have written you up on the spot.

You will not be getting a ticket, but if he sees you again without a front licence plate, you should expect to get a ticket.

With more and more photography used in law enforcement, there is good reason to not have a front licence plate on your car. How do you cross examine a camera in court?
