You should have ibfubar2000 check out the status of your VIN. So far dealer information has been unreliable.

My car is coming in at the Port of Jacksonville and per another thread the ship will not arrive in Jacksonville until June 30, with Port of N.J. not until July 2.

Ibfubar2000 if you would check status of my vin JM1FE17N740100606 that should be an indicator of the South East Coast cars thru Jacksonville FL.

so i called them today i was like 5 days behind but i was very busy and i just got back from prom weekend on tuesday. so when they told me i almost had a heart attack. So since the car is in port time to sell the eclipsewhich i had some very fond memorys in and some really bad memorys A.K.A lemon if ya get what i mean. Also i ordered april 03 they forgot to put me on preorder so they switched a car out so mine can comin first shipment.they are very nice people and the only one aroung here that didnt want to jack the price up 2,000 - 5,000 bucks.Well once we get our cars we have to have the first NJ meet of rx8s and other rotarys.

so far.. their is confirmation at all ports except jacksonville it looks like. Does anyone have any confirmation about jacksonville. how long usually after there are at the ports does it take to get port installed options and too the dealer. Do you think my car comming into orlando will be here before july 14th?

adamp316.... I don't really find it conceivable that the East Coast ship would bypass J'ville and go to NJ first. If in fact it is true that the ship has arrived in NJ, the I would have to assume that it has already unloaded in J'ville. I am just having a real hard time believing it is true.

Hmmm... My dealer is in Bedford Hills, NY (Adzam Mazda) and though they told me that the car has arrived at port, they may not get it until like the 3rd week of July. Is that possible?

I'm getting worried that their intending on keeping it around for them to show other potential customers.

If they want to hold it for a couple weeks, are they allowed to do that? I know I can get upset and complain, but is it within the dealer's right to release it when their ready?
