Sorry I missed the rx8 action, I left late & then got caught in a traffic jam on I-80 due to some motorcycle rally that took up the left lanes for miles. I saw part of (I think) the 3rd, and 4th run groups, but didn't see any rx8 left in the paddock. Another time ....

 

You mean before lunch? We were in the fifth run group which ran around 1pm.

Yes, I was there before the midday coursewalk; and left a little after 12:30. Bummer, I looked for rx8's when I got there, but not before I left.

How did you guys do?

 

Since I was working Tech I parked our yellow RX-8 next to the inspection area instead of in the paddock area so I could set it up between inspections. Murphy's Law I guess; this was the first time I did that.

I think my best time was 45.0 seconds, while my wife did 46.4. It will be a couple days before they post the results by group.
