Speaking of lucky people, I think I might know someone luckier. Not too long ago, the first person of the human race to ever survive Rabies without shots did so. Got bit by a bat, didn't think anything of it, by the time people found out it was too late for the shots, but she is a 15 year old girl and lived.

How could you not think something of being bitten by a bat? and better yet, how could her parents not have gotten her vaccinated? That's a different kinda lucky.
