View Full Version : I Got A New Job!!!!! Shocka 03-21-2005, 02:16 PM I have been lookin for almost 2 years for a new job. Finally got a position with Accenture as a Technology Consultant! I know lots of folks that work at Accenture and they all love it. The one good vestige of the old Arthur Anderson legacy (as opposed to looking the other way when Enron cooked it's books.) Shocka 03-21-2005, 04:54 PM well i interviewed with 3 other companies in the last 6 months Ernst and Young Nov04 - Still waiting (starting to feel that they are not gonna call me back) Bloomberg Feb 05 - Rejected! Accenture - I have had 5 interviews in 4 Rounds since Feb 05 Accenture is the only offer I got, nowadays its hard to get interviews.. if you get an offer u ggrab it! The one thing i must say i do regret is that when i was in college i did not have anyone telling me what it takes to get a job with a major NYC firm. I usta listen to the older IT people who hit the dot com boom and they usta say how they had 2-5 offers and are watiing for the biggest signing bonus, ha signing bonus does that even exist in any case.. took me 2 years to hit it big and what i have learned along the way greatly helped and im DAM PROUD AND EXCITED ABOUT IT! Well 1st Round - Interview w/ Accenture Recruiter 2nd Round - Interview w/ Tech Group Senior Manager w/ 3 other memebers listening 3rd Round - Behavioral Interview with HR Manager 4th Round - Interview with 2 Executives (Partners) Where have you been looking? This step was with a third party behavioral specialist (they really probe deep!). |
