The winning bid was $ 1.50 but the terms of the bid require payment of a non-refundable $ 500 deposit to be paid within 36 hours. Sounds like an interesting proposition. Would you pay $ 500 non refundable deposit on $ 1.50?

i was wondering if that was because he expected to get $5,000 or if that is what the dealer is requesting and it will be taken off the final price of the car. in which case it isnt a bad deal, if the buyer is going to buy it, it is much better than some of the other ones that had a final price of thousands.

I saw this and debated to go for it or not. This listing could only be found AFTER re-entering a more thorough search, did it show up under "other models". I'm wondering if it was some kind of inside mazda dealer trying to sell to someone that they knew on Ebay.
