Today Mazda replied to my email request for VIN. KMM104273V52858LOKM. This is the first time I've seen a KMM number. Any clues there?
Mazda told me my car was "in port" now and I should get it from my Santa Monica dealer by the end of June, or the 1st week of July.
The mysterious Nordic Green with everything but NAV.
Can't wait...

My guess is that that number was in the subject of the email, yes?? then that is mazda's email support internal tracking number. It has nothing to do with your vin per say, it's more of a log of the email in their system.

Other email support places have the same type of identification.

it is an invalid vin. no idea, might want to try again and get a different vin.

IGOZMZM is right, I believe, the number is a tracking number for the support service. It has nothing to do with your order. Every single email I have sent to Mazda's RX8 order address has a number just like that when the official reply comes (i.e. not we'll be right with you email).

Also when I have replied to their emails I don't get the "not we'll be right with you email" a second time. I guess the number gets it pulled from the quick reply group.

Congradulations and enjoy the car, mine still sitting in Japan.
