I would probably guess that the average age of the RX8 owner and or board reader is above 30, but it seems that the younger crowd will be the ones posting in this thread as they feel the need to validate themselves since they own an 8 at such a young age. Maybe the real question should be How old are you and did you purchase the RX8 yourself without any outside help from any 3rd party excluding financing with you as the only signature.

My mommy and daddy didn't pay for my RX-8. I've worked for everything I have. So my age may make me a "kid" in your eyes, but I'm definitely not a "spoiled kid" ;)

Bought my rx8 in '04 when I was 24 with my own money and good credit. Financed the sucker with everything in my name, no co-signers. Monthly car payment and insurance is way up there...
I work full time and live on my own in a city where the rent isn't cheap. Done with college too if that helps. No help from anyone on this purchase.

You probably do. When I got my license in 1969, thats what it was, and stayed there for about 6 years when the Arab Oil Embargo happened. The last time it was .79 was 1999.

i deff. remember...i have a picture of gas from like...years and years ago that was under a dollar...probably clsoe to '95 actually...but yea, i remember being little and going to the same gas station i do now and remembering how cheap it was.

Just for reference, the RX-8 is definitely FEMALE, way too much of a hottie to be male. Hummer, Chrysler 300, Ford F350 dually, definitely male...ugly and awkward as hell.

Interesting to see how this car appeals to people from teenagers through 50s and even 60s. Not many cars can appeal to such a diverse age group. Rotary On!
