Well, I'm going to be taking a 3D Max course next month, but for now I'm going to work on rendering an RX8 in Lightscape. I still have a lot of work to do on the textures and I have to think of a back drop to place it in. I'll post pics throuout the project.

I just have to find the time. Here are two renders I did 3 years ago when I first started using Lightscape...I'm much better now.

I am planning on just buying it, I don't have time to model it. Rendering architecture is just one of the things I do for a living. THis is the best one I have found.

I've seen that one before. There is also another site that was selling a very hight detail model for about $250. The difference betweeen the two is that the Turbosuid version relies heavily on texture maps where as the model from the other site is a high polygon model....If I can find it, I'll post the web page.

This guy does some cool renders, just look under the portfolio section. Someone should get him to do an 8 race car.

I do all my renders using autocad as a base. I then render them in Lightscape....I'm upgrading the 3D studio next month. I mostly do furniture renders so cars are a bit of a challenge.

There are so many excellent CG artists out there. I could fill pages of links to some of these guys.

Here are some examples of some of the best car rendering I've come across. If I hadn't seen the wire frame mockup shots I would swear that they were real.

The french forum pic is weird looking. Kinda like they started drawing and forgot some details.

Those are all truly amazing. I have so much respect for people that have the skill to do that stuff. I can't even use 99% of the tools in Photoshop let alone a 3D program.

Great job all.
