Ok, I'm clutching at straws to start a new thread but...
The rear seat space for placing objects through from the boot - how large is it and what is it practical for? Could you place a plank of wood or a small IKEA flatpack their?
Someone must have seen it.

It's only about 4 inches wide so no flat packs going through there.:( It's ok for pushing some golf clubs through but not much else.

and maybe some skis ...
I don't remember the exact size (this is all based on seeing and touching one at the Mazda Rev-it-up event), but somewhere around 18 mm (or 7 inches) give or take ...

I thought the gas tank was behind the seat low hidden. I might be wrong. So there shouldn't be a way to look in the trunk.

Actually the tank is under the seatbottom - hope it's not an in-tank fuel pump ;)

The hatch is there for ski storage.
You might get a fence post through there, but why would you want to ???
Hire a van for the day.........:p
