this blown nearly-all-custom-race-ready Nissan R26DETT-derived motor, making about 1300bhp (in Stage 2 trim) at the wheels:

...or this full-ass blown perhipheral ported, MONSTER turboed (that's a single T'netics Y2K) short-block 3 rotor?? (1200bhp now, they say about 1400bhp later)

i'm sure those lumps would be more at home in a cross channel ferry.

might screw up the handling of the RX-8, although a mid engine derivative could be interesting.

...i've heard tale of the 3-rotor "Big Brother" up there from evil7.com costing in the range of $30-$40k USD... the Skyline motor there, whoa... i've followed all the work those guys have put into it, and i could easily see the price of that motor at twice that of the rotor.
