im in agonizing pain right now, ive had a full blown migraine for a half hour now and now the room has started to spin and im getting disoriented. I have no idea whats causing this...i hope its an electrolyte imbalance...gah i cant even think this sucks.

maybe you were spinig aroudn in your sleep and hit your own redlimit one to many times:D hmm but that would only explain the dizziness...ah well i tried:D

ate: chicken fried rice, hawaiian chicken, lentil soup, hamburger, almonds, vanilla ice cream
drank: no alcohol, a lot of bottled water, some pepsi one

Sorry to hear that...I use to get migranes also and it's VERY PAINFUL.

Half my face, my tounge, and had would get numb. I would get a blind spot right in the middle of my vison. I then would get a major headache and sometimes it ended with barfing up.

Sorry for your pain...are you home? I use to go to sleep when I felt them comming on but hopefully you will be able to take something soon.

Anything with MSG? Could be a reaction? Or too much salt? Amonds, lentils, some oriental-style food has a lot of salt - when I have too much salt, I get a killer headache.

Last time you had Chinese, do you remember having a headache after? Might not hurt to call the restaurant and ask if they use MSG.

My mom found out the hard way one weekend. They had Chinese on Friday night - she was miserable with a killer migraine for two days after. But.....never happened before. She called the restaurant on the off chance someone else called suffering from a headache also. They told her that 4 other people called, that they didn't know of anything different they had done, except switch to MSG.

Well crap...guess I am just outta luck then. Feras...if you can't have sex, try Excedrin migraine. That is the only medicine that seems to work for me. Since you already have one, it probably won't get rid of it completely, but at least it will dull the pain.

since sex would involve a 6 hour car trip looks like ill have to try the excedrin route (at least the vertigo is subsiding so i went get run over on the way to the drugstore....still havent been able to get anything done at work)

Not true. I still get some nasty headaches, and I take a good dose or two of sex regularly.

How about caffeine? If you normally drink it, and haven't had any today, try some... ya can get a headache from withdraw...

Too much can do it too (Moutain Dew kills me, though I do love it so...)
