So, I've been reading all these threads about Vins and delivery dates. I decided it was time to call up my dealer and ask about my car.

I told him that rx8orders needed my VIN number before they could give me any status on my car. He sounded surprised at my request and said that there are ZERO VINS available for the RX8 and that their computer system is updated every week. When I explained that the first cargo shipment had already left Japan he told my sources were wrong.

RX8Forum kicks ass. My dealer sucks ass.

Here's hoping he's totally clueless.

he is clueless because his cars don't have vins. it is probablythe same problem my dealer has. he was clueless as to the ordering cutoff dates, so didn't place the orders until FEB 21ST! ask your dealer what day they placed the order for your car.
