Hello
I'ts been awhile since i posted a thread, but I have a question.
My silver '05 is GReat. I have about 940 miles in it so far, and i am starting to push the car a bit. I just realized today it could go really fast. When i floored it, my head just snapped back. I was so surprised!! I mean i hear people complaining about lack of power, but WHoosh! What a rush! and the sound of engine! oh my god....pure amazing.
Since I'm not quite at 1000 yet, I haven't redlined the engine but Christ! I know im getting used to stick now, but I also noticed the clutch work has to be different going so much fast! While shifting i can just feel the engine SPINNING HARD under my foot!
I love my car! i think it's the best car ever!
NEver had any problems except well i'm not sure if it's a problem
Ever since i got the car, I noticed the rearview mirror would shake and blurr the reflections as i drive on little rough road.
I'm not talking about mud or dirt road, but conctrete streets
Should i have it check out? I mean it doesn't shake all the time but, once in awhile going over a bump or little rough surface would shake the mirror
Do you guys have this? It doesn't affect the driving at all, but just curious if i should have it checked
Thanks

Thats not too normal, you should go have it checked out, although im pretty sure they will just tell you its normal. Mine doesnt shake at all. Period. Only on rough surfaces do i have trouble seeing through it, but when theres rough surfaces, im looking through the windsheild and avoiding any hazards, not my rearview :p

Mine does not shake in all the routine driving I have done (1300 miles).

might have a loose bolt there... but over very rough roads mine vibrates enough to blur the view through it. Check it by hand - if it's tight, it's tight.

Check your tire pressure also - ride shouldn't be THAT harsh, even on those harsh OEM tires. 32 PSI all around gives best ride and handling combo.

Mine vibrates when I have the music cranking. The Bose 9 speaker stereo can rattle it good. I haven't noticed it shake when driving with the radio off however.

The rearview mirror is actually a common problem. You have the one with the homelink right? Take it to your closest dealer, they will replace it free of charge.

If you have a subwoofer, it'll shake all the time.

Funny thing is today Mazda did their follow up call to make sure everything was going ok with my new mirror. Pretty weird coincidence, unless some bored person at the dealership is trolling on the forum, and knows all my info.

No shakes/squeeks here, just hit 12,000. I just get vibration from the speakers. I also get it on the side mirrors. I don't even have bose. I keep the bass around +2 and the volume at about 16. it's ok though, I rarely have to check blind spots/look behind... kind of happens when you're passing everything out there :D

glad to hear you are enjoying your rex during some "spirited driving" :D
