Question Canadian Tire Flex Wiper Blades

Has anyone tried these blades and have an opinion on how good they are compared to stock?

So what's their claim to fame? I could look it up but I'm lazy.

I saw the commercial on TV - it sounds like they work pretty good. Basically, the pressure between the blade and the windshield is always distributed evenly, so you'll never get the streaks that occur when parts of the blade pull away from the windshield.

I wanted to try them out for winter; but I was only able to get the 20" blade for one side and still waiting for them to get stock for the 18" blade before trying them out. The regular winter blades tend to lift on the highway and look like sh**. Since there is no exposed spring for snow/ice to foul up, they should be great in the winter.

My tow truck guy had them on his flat bed truck. I asked him about it when i noticed that he had those blades installed. He said they work great. His windshield didn't have streaks either.

I put them on my Contour SVT. My 8 is stored for the winter but I probably won't look at replacing those until they start to wear. Since I don't drive my 8 in the rain, it'll be a while before I replace the wipers on my 8.

But back to my opinion. So far so good on my SVT. They are great for winter since there's very little for snow or ice to build up on. I have only had them on since early December I think so no long term opinion, but at this point, I would recommend them.
