I was at Barnes and Nobles yesterday, looking at all of the car magazines trying to find info on the RX8. Several car magazines had articles entitled Top 50 cars for 2003, or Top 50 most anticipated cars of 2003, etc. etc. Each of the several mags ranked the 350z as number one, yet not one of them mentioned a word about the RX8. Does anyone have any theories as to why? Why isn't there any hype being generated by the mags?

Please advise.

Perhaps because it's going to be a 2004 model? That's the only thing I can think of, because the RX-8 has to be in the top 5, at the very least.

you got it rich! mazda is calling it a 2004. one of the mags did mention the mazda6 in their top 50 and mentioned the rx-8 in one sentence. the mags just don't have any new info yet, so there is nothing to write about.
