That's an awful lot of money to waste on a car. Why don't you invest it and in 10 years you can buy an exotic and STILL have money left over.

Pay off a house, you will be better off in the long run.

except the yearly contribution limits in Roth IRAs are (if I remember right) 4k this year, and are only increasing to 6-7k over the next couple. It would take the rest of your life to contribute it all :)

Hey if it means I retire a millionare, I have no problem tossing in 4k a year hehe. There's lots of other investment opportunities in the meantime...stocks, bonds, real estate (personally I'd like to own a couple apartment buildings!). SLUMLORD!!! :D

If that money is real I'd suggest saving it in your bank account. ANd using it for something...say a house later on in life, or college or something that is NECESSARY.

And my college is paid off, i have a new house in south carolina that i can sell at any point if i need/want to and get atleast 1,000,000 for.....so that leaves fun w/my car...it's not just about going fast, it's about having fun and doing it with something that i really like...

No big deal but I own a $2,000,000 house. No big deal though. I'm thinking about putting maybe $350,000 into my car next weekend, too. Not trying to brag or anything, though.

That is a little different. She never started a thread about how rich she is, only what she plans to do. People then questioned her ability to carry out such a feat, and she said she has the means to do so. If I was going to put a 3 rotor engine in my car...believe me, I'd let everyone know on this board and in my town :D.

Have fun but be careful. A correctly tuned 3 rotor will take off like a JET.

and for all you assholes who think things are just "handed"to me....i pay my monthly payments on my car, NO i didn't sue anyone...i INVESTED some money into the stock market (gee, theres a shocker) and one of the stocks is doing really well, so i'm taking the money from that one...My mom told me that she was rich, not me, andi needed to get a job and take care of my own shit....SO I AM....I work 30 hours a week and go to school...get off my back

Either/or, congrats, I suppose. Do what you want with the money, but keep the 8.. use the money for SOMETHING useful.... that'll help you on in life - cars will always be there.... other things will not. :)

I own property in Italy (Sulmona Abruzzi) and I have never even been there! Granted, she is 18, but it's not impossible.
