View Full Version : Conversion to Xenon The French Guy 02-16-2005, 02:40 PM Can we change the regular bulbs fog lights (H11 55W) for Xenon H11 55W without any converter or whatever? Thank you Serge Shamblerock 02-16-2005, 03:45 PM I don't know but would be interested as well as that is something I have thought about doing for a while. 5Gen_Prelude 02-16-2005, 08:15 PM No - Xenon lights require a ballast Shamblerock 02-16-2005, 08:32 PM :( The French Guy 02-17-2005, 06:58 AM  :( Kart Racer 02-17-2005, 07:45 AM i've known people that just replace theyre foglights with a srt of "hyperwhite bulb" its not a zenon, but at least the colour more closely matches the headlights...its sorta the honda thing to do....but it works..hahaha Shamblerock 02-17-2005, 10:35 AM :) The French Guy 02-17-2005, 12:44 PM And what about this : http://www.hoen-usa.com/bulbchoice.htm Somebody tried it ? StealthTL 02-17-2005, 02:10 PM Yes, they are the ones you would use to get purple/blue headlights LIKE xenon. Real Xenons would need the projector reflector, though there are kits on ebay for around $300 that replace the halogen with a HID capsule. Xenon/HID gives WAY more actual light to drive by. S The French Guy 02-18-2005, 06:45 AM Thank you very much for the answer StealthTL. Now we know exactly what we need! moRotorMotor 02-18-2005, 08:55 AM I don't want to be a party pooper, I just want you to get the full scoop on both sides of the fence before you make the purchase.
