I forgot about that game. People used to play on Laughing skull for PVP and I can't remember the name of the PVE server others were on.

EDIT: Zul'jin is the PVE

Yup, few of us on Zul'jin- currently concentrating on Alliance, but need to go back to my poor neglected Horde char. Again, if anyone else appears on Zul'jin on Alliance, send me a whisper- Elara on there too. Draco Dormiens is always up for new people.

Are you guys getting bored with it? I didn't expect it to get boring this fast... I'm glad I dropped it after beta.

Ouch. I bet some people are still having fun. I know a few who are still playing and some who are bored. That's the nature of these games I guess...

It's not that it's boring, but it's starting to turn into an EQ fest end game. If you aren't doing 5+ hours in raid instances like Upper and Lower Blackrock Spire or Molten Core, then you aren't doing anything at all...bottom line.

They really need to add some PvP content, as it stands now there is no point to PvP.

Hmm..I'm guessing those of you who are bored are not longtime multiplayer gamers then? I've been playing online stuff like this for going on 10 years, and even longer offline. Much of the fun of the game for me is exploring new areas, using new classes, finding new stuff, etc. I don't game to get to the end of a game, I game to play with my friends and have fun. The game itself is the reward. Sure, I COULD be level 60 by now, but then I wouldn't have had any fun along the way.Theres nothing wrong with powergaming-it's just not why I play. I just prefer to take my time and enjoy the ride.

Aside from that, have you guys read anything about the instances going in? Onyxia is only a tier 1 dragon- her big brother Nefarian will be going in soon. You have to kil Onyxia to get to him- and he's only a tier 3or 4 dragon, and they'll go all the way up to 6. The battlegrounds also sound like they're going to be amazing.

I dropped after Beta too...I can only do the same quests so many times with different enemies before I start to catch on and lose interest.

Despite the repetetive gameplay, this game somehow ate my friend. He plays it more than I've ever seen anyone play a game - it's literally running at all times he's awake and he gets food delivered on a regular basis so he doesn't have to leave his computer. I'm really surprised he actually goes to class occasionally. I'm really not sure what he does in the game anymore either...he has been level 60 for quite some time now (probably close to a month) and he seems to have amassed about everything there is to be amassed...I guess I just don't get it.

Ahh, college. CS had me like that for a month when i started. Those were darker times...

Haha, well at least you can't really "beat" CS...you just keep getting better and better without reaching a ceiling or other stopping point. My friend has been maxed out in WoW for a while now and I think he just plays it because he thinks that maybe - just maybe - there's some shard of the game that he hasn't completely worn out.

I agree with Elara. If you played to just level as fast as possible, your missing out. Every time I go exploring I find new things to do, new gear to find or make, etc. And ocne I get my current character to whatever level I want it to be, I'll go ahead and play with something else.

I also enjoy running around with friends. So far I have been playing catchup to some, but now that I am almost there I can relax a bit more and just party.

At least I've played it more than Planetside, CoH or EQ2 and I am still having fun.
