Since Renesis won 'International Engine of the Year'
Mazda is probably more confident with building them. So they will probably keep building more and more rotaries. thats what im hoping.
Do you think that mazda will ever build a 4 rotor Renesis ... and so on..
2 rotor =v6 power
4 Rotor = v8 power
6 rotor = v10-v12 power
I read somewhere that even rotors are better in some ways ..
Just wondering what you guys thing will happen with the rotary's
when they evolv..

3 rotor = greater than V8 power
4 rotor = greater than v10/12 power
5 or 6 rotor? Wow that's an engine that likely won't ever be built.

there is a video in the multimedia forum that has a 4 rotor in it.

The only time mazda would build a 4 rotor engine again is if they were to tack another shot at LaMans.

How would you build a multi-rotor Renesis, though? What would you do with all those side-mounted ports?
