Just wondering why are those ugly "shit" colour/black leather is standard in the Titanium and Black colour?

Why cant we pick what we want for interior colour?

I really want a Black on Black..but all they have (according to the salesman and the book) is Black with Tan/Black leather...which looks really bad...

Also...all 2004 model sold out(well all got deposit) and they are asking for 4K nonrefundable deposit???

Where are you located? There are still several cars that are not allocated here in Ottawa (3 at Performance Mazda, Bank St Mazda also has some with no down ditto for Hull, don't know about the other dealer). Those that are allocated doesn't mean that they are sold, just that someone has put money down for first dibs. All deposits should be fully refundable and not exceed $1,000. If they are asking for more, walk away and go to another dealer.

BTW I reserve my judgement on Black/taupe until I see it in a car. How can you tell by looking at a 1" by 3 " strip glued to a book?

I got those photos from rx-8 forum...I dunno...that tan colour is hard to like....

I wish I can have something like Black on Red/Black leather :)

That was my knee jerk reaction too until I saw an FB freshly painted in titanium grey and a taupe leather interior (original leather was burgandy). I must say that it definitely has potential. You really can't go by pictures.

At first, I didn't want tit grey because it is such a popular colour around here but after seeing this colour combo, winning blue had some serious competition.

yeah, i'm gonna say "see it for yourself" first, as colour neg film and bad lighting can really f*ck up browns pretty bad, especially with some digital photo editting before printing it... dont' get distressed yet.

I've searched for many pictures of the tan/black combo and I think I like it.

I think it will look really classy especially with titanium, I'm not sure about black though :confused:

I'm sure all the RX-8's won't be sold out, you'll find one if you really want one. Although it may not be in the colour/option choice that you want.

I'm still crossing my fingers that by june 2004, the RX-8 will be as easy to get as the Miata!

i both my 8 black and tan and i saw one in mazda canada about one month ago and the different about the pict and reality is so different .is so beautiful it like sport and class cars.and i talk with
my dealer and he make a mistake when he order mine so he call mazda canada for take a car in they inventory so i will get my car around 15 july and he say that i will receive my car one month before everyone .so the car is expected by end of august.im not writhing this for bugging you guys it just that im so happy;) and i wish you the same thing
