Ok-when I had my 6s, I avoided driving with my Doc Martens as they were sorta in the way of the pedals but I could shift with them if I had to. Now that I have the 8, no way would I use anything but my tennis shoes. What do you all drive with? I dont want to wear tennis shoes every time I drive the 8 but not sure what else is out there...

Wrestling shoes ( Greco-Roman NOT Hulk Hogan ) are good and cheaper than the "Driving Shoes" you find for sale in the AutoSport catalog

Barefoot. Grab a good pair of socks and you're all set. I used to do that all the time in the Miata (warm, dry weather only, of course...)

I drive in tennis shoes and flip flops. I change my shoes when I get to work. I'll even skip the more fashionable boots on a Fri or Sat night and wear tennies just to be more comfortable in the 8.

I wear combat boots Mon-Fri and sometimes on weekends. Work requirement and I don't have a problem driving the 8 in them.

Platform boots or platform clogs work very well for me. Plus when you get out of the car, you really look good! Style is everything. I would rather get a speeding ticket from the local police than get a ticket from the fashion police! I mean come on now! :D

Puma makes auto racing replica shoes. Try the Puma speed cat, good for driving but bad for walking though.

Converse Chucks are the ones I use and I think are the best for me when I drive my 8.

Many pairs of Doc Martens, Gripfast Steel toes, and Old School vans.
